Become a BELIEVER
The decision to follow Jesus Christ is the most life changing
decision you will ever make. "For What good will it be for a man if
he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his
soul? . . ." Matthew 16:26.
". . . I stand at the door and knock. If
anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come
in . . ." Revelation 3:20. Jesus Christ is
knocking at the door of your heart waiting for you to let Him in. To
receive Him:
1. ACKNOWLEDGE your spiritual need.
"I am a sinner." ". . . for all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God, . . ." Romans
3:23.
2. REPENT and turn away
from your sin.
3. BELIEVE "For God so
loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did
not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save
the world through him." John 3:16-17.
4. Through prayer, RECEIVE Jesus
Christ into your heart and life.
5. AFFIRM your
commitment with your local church and seek guidance on how to grow
in your faith. Now, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in
everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7.
